Anton est un jeune homme de 28 ans simple d'esprit qui vit d'un maigre travail à la blanchisserie. Mais il a un grand talent : une voix exceptionnelle. Il trouve réconfort auprès de Matthew, pianiste dans les parcs new-yorkais. Ensemble, ils unissent leurs talents pour attirer la foule et se faire un peu d'argent. Mais bientôt, Wes, un SDF beau parleur et manipulateur va essayer d'attirer Anton dans son filet pour profiter de son argent. Entre ces deux amis de Central Park, Anton va vivre un vrai chemin initiatique où il ne devra pas perdre son rêve de chanter un jour aux côtés du grand Fabiano Grazzi.
