Alex a perdu son travail il y a un an. Depuis, sa femme est partie, et il vit dans un local poubelle. Pour pallier a son probleme de logement, il se fait inviter chaque soir a dormir dans un appartement different. Mais une ombre le suit depuis quelque temps, et des plaintes pour cambriolage dans les appartements qu'il a visites affluent...
